“To make evident our dialogue of opposition and associated theory; for the piece to be interactive, to challenge, question and provoke new thinking, conversation and learning for our interdiscipliinary field of practice.” Brett/McHarg A Quickening
As part of visual artist Marie Brett and art therapist John McHarg’s ongoing collaboration, A Quickening is an installation making visible the artist’s thinking in their associated publication ‘Working on the Edge’ exploring the similarity, difference, overlaps and requirement roles of an Artist compared to an Art Therapist located in arts and healthcare contexts. A Quickening was supported by photography by Nic Piper, sound by Danny McCarthy and editing by Maximilion Le Cain.
